JMAS:
Be able to instruct with authority over the entire range of Defense Attaché Service topics. Design, publish and present instructional lessons for JMAS students. Serve as Course Directors, when designated, to administer, evaluate, synchronize, and manage blocks of instruction in the ATP curriculum in accordance with established JMAS and ATP procedures. Serve as Primary Points of Contact for JMAS Off-Site exercises, when designated. Responsible for direct coordination with outside agencies, synchronizing schedules, maintaining a current list of all contact information for all Points of Contact and agencies supporting the exercise, and keep them updated and readily available on the shared electronic filing system. Review and adjust all exercise-related materials (letters, FLO handouts, documents, Earlybirds, etc) before each class iteration. Coordinate with exercise Role Players and JMAS Faculty attending the exercise before each exercise iteration, evaluate the performance of the Role Players and provide them, the respective contractor lead, andJMAS COR
with feedback. Conduct a faculty after-action review within 24 hours of the end of the exercise. Maintain the exercise folder in accordance with JMAS policy and procedures. Provide off-station faculty support for approximately ten days three times per year in support of an Attaché Training Program exercise in Florida or other venue as deemed appropriate by the Commandant. Perform all other instructor functions related to the administration, design, delivery, execution, and maintenance of assigned training blocks and program duties, as assigned Coordinate guest lecturers and ensure that their materials and presentations meet JMAS standards. Fully understand and actively support the academic accreditation process administered by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). This includes attendance at JMAS curriculum reviews. Fully understand the procedures set forth by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) with regard to JMAS being designated as an "Authorized Provider" of Continuing Education Units (CEUs).group id:
