Exercise Physiologist

Sunrise Health & Rehab located in Sunrise, FL is looking for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team.

Schedule:

Full-time, 9am-5pm Must work every other

Saturday & Sunday Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments to determine their current fitness level and exercise needs.
• Develop personalized exercise programs based on individual goals and medical conditions.
• Provide guidance and instruction on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Educate patients on the benefits of regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
• Certification as an Exercise Physiologist or similar credential.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• CNA License is preferred.
• Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing exercise programs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide health coaching to patients.
• Ability to provide exceptional patient service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
