Job Description:
Communicates and documents patient information effectively. Performs and interprets the results of physiological assessment accurately, recognizing high-risk individuals and designing/referring appropriate exercise prescription. Plans and teaches exercise therapy for patients using test data, patient status, and current medication regimen. Monitors patients' response to therapy and revises plans accordingly. Provides exercise information for patients, peers, and the community, including public speaking and education classes. Ensures department equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly. Participates in interdisciplinary committees, Performance Improvement activities, staff and student development.
Education:
Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
in Exercise Science or related field
Work Experience:
1+ experience with the application of exercise concepts/techniques/methods in a biological or medical setting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Pay Range:
