POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
The Referral Specialist coordinates and schedules all referrals ordered by the provider with the appropriate entity.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education High school or equivalent Completion and maintenance of a certified medical assisting training course Minimum Experience Medical assisting clinic experience preferred Required Registration/License/Certification Medical Assisting Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
