Exercise Specialist, Cardiopulmonary Rehabiliation

Exercise Specialist, Cardiopulmonary Rehabiliation Responsible for formulating, implementing and updating exercise prescription and individualized treatment plans for Cardiopulmonary Rehab patients. Provides exercise therapy for Phase II, III and Wellness patients. Instructs individuals and groups on how to execute cardiovascular exercises efficiently, use weight lifting equipment safely, and provides advice about nutrition and weight control. Participates with intake interviews, acquires medical information, coordinates individualized patient education, communicates to staff and physicians any significant changes in response to exercise, and updates changes in patient exercise data. Minimum Qualifications Two years of exercise planning or patient care experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science required. ACSM Exercise Specialty or Health Fitness Certification preferred.
