This role combines elements of traditional therapy support with interactive, game-based technology, designed to enhance client engagement and improve therapeutic outcomes. Candidates with healthcare experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide clients through each session of the hi-fi therapy game, ensuring they understand and engage with the process. Provide clear explanations, support, and feedback tailored to each client's individual needs. Clients range from the healthy elderly to school-age children with any neurological disorder, including but not limited to: Strokes, Parkinson's, Alzheimers/Dementia, TBI, ADHD, and depression.
Session Management:
Monitor client progress and adjust coaching techniques in real-time to maximize therapeutic benefits. Maintain accurate records of sessions, noting key observations and progress markers.
Technical Facilitation:
Assist clients with navigating the digital platform, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and ensuring a smooth gaming experience. Collaborate with the technical team to provide feedback on user experience and suggest improvements.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with healthcare professionals and the therapy development team to integrate clinical insights into game sessions. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and update coaching practices.
Quality & Compliance:
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, ethical practice, and data protection in all interactions. Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential :
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology in progress or obtained required. Enthusiasm for innovative therapeutic methods and technology-driven approaches. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new digital tools and game interfaces. Prior experience in a healthcare setting (Personal Training, Rehabilitation, etc.) Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Background in psychology, mental health, or a relevant discipline is a plus. Experience with digital health platforms or game-based learning environments.
Additional Attributes:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A proactive, positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
