EXERCISE SPECIALIST/PHYSICAL THERAPIST
ASSISTANT--Village Crossing at Worman's Mill Move For Life Physical Therapy has an immediate need for a highly skilled Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapist Assistant in Frederick, MD

  • is a private practice consisting of physical, occupational, speech therapists, and exercise specialists that excel in the provision of therapy services to the older adult population.
The Move for Life team is experienced in handling impairments relating to cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, pulmonary, and other conditions and diagnoses common in the aging population. Through our clinical practice, we have found that the majority of our clients do not necessarily have one of the latter more specific diagnoses, but rather, a more general diagnosis of weakness, atrophy, difficulty walking, and debility, which are the identified diagnoses that qualify them for rehabilitative treatments.
POSITION
Move for Life offers a unique position for exercise specialists in all of our communities. The Move for Life Specialist focuses on helping residents remain as independent as possible. This task is accomplished through a variety of services including daily exercise classes, performing one-on-one training sessions, and conducting quarterly balance screenings, just to name few. The ideal candidate is a high energy exercise specialist (Physical Therapist Assistant, Exercise physiologist, athletic trainer, dance therapist, or personal trainer) with a true interest in working with older adults.
