Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will develop and implement personalized exercise programs designed to improve residents' physical health, mobility, and overall well-being. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire residents to achieve their health goals while supporting our community's commitment to active aging. Duties Assess residents' physical abilities and health status to create tailored exercise plans that meet individual needs and goals Lead engaging group and one-on-one exercise sessions focused on strength, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular health Monitor residents' progress regularly, adjusting programs as needed to ensure safety and effectiveness Educate residents on proper exercise techniques and the benefits of physical activity for healthy aging Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and ensure exercises align with medical recommendations Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, sessions, and progress reports in compliance with privacy standards Promote a positive environment that encourages participation, motivation, and social interaction among residents Skills Proven experience as an Exercise Physiologist or similar role within senior or healthcare settings Certification from a recognized organization such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or equivalent Strong knowledge of exercise science, aging physiology, and safety protocols for older adults Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse populations Ability to assess individual needs accurately and develop customized exercise programs Compassionate attitude with a passion for enhancing seniors' quality of life through physical activity Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment Join us in making a meaningful difference by empowering seniors to live healthier, more active lives!
Pay:
$33.65 - $36.06 per hour
