We are a fast-paced clinic in need of an exercise physiologist to enhance our client experience and lesson the symptoms of their neuropathy. In this role, you will develop personalized exercise programs, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and monitor progress to help individuals. Your expertise in physiology, medical terminology, and patient care will be essential in guiding patients through safe and effective exercise regimens. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health outcomes within an outpatient setting. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine individual needs and limitations. Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate exercise routines, health coaching, and activity modifications for patients with chronic conditions. Monitor patient responses during exercise sessions, adjusting programs as needed to ensure safety and effectiveness Educate patients on anatomy, physiology, and the importance of physical activity in managing their health conditions Utilize electronic health record systems to document progress, update care plans, and communicate with multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret diagnostic results and refine treatment strategies Provide exceptional patient service by fostering a motivating environment that encourages adherence and positive lifestyle changes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field Certification as an Exercise Physiologist through recognized organizations (e.g., ACSM or CSEP) is highly desirable Experience in outpatient settings with patient assessment, body mechanics analysis, and developing care plans Ability to educate patients effectively on health coaching techniques and lifestyle modifications Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
