Job Summary:
The Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist is a professional clinician who specializes and assists patients in guided education, risk factor reduction and exercise. Ability to work in Phases I and II cardiac rehabilitation. Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients during clinic sessions and performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications:
B.S. in accredited Exercise Physiology program (M.S. preferred) Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required on hire. Current
BLS, ACLS
certification or obtain within 90 days of Employment. 1 year previous experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation preferred. EKG/rhythm interpretation training required. Proficient in telemetry interpretation skills.
