SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Kristen Olewine Milke CARE Center (Cancer Assistance and Resource Education) at Penn State Cancer Institute is recruiting a full-time Exercise Physiologist to support the Moving Through Cancer with CARE program. This program aims to provide exercise support to adult patients diagnosed with cancer. The role involves conducting exercise assessments and testing, developing individualized exercise programs, coordinating weekly and monthly follow-ups, and supporting data management activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a closely related field Relevant experience in the field of exercise and oncology - one or more years Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C)

ACSM/ACS

Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer (CET) (must be obtained within three (3) months of hire)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

(S): ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) (optional but strongly encouraged)
