Job Description

Cardiac Exercise Physiologist

WORK LOCATION
Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK HOURS:
PRN
  • -Rotating shifts as needed
  • Weekend on call.
VASCULAR LAB DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS
  • Great working environment with plenty of learning opportunities.
  • Work with excellent cardiologists and sonographers.
  • Learn new techniques for various stress testing
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Bachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology Required AND
  • Master's Degree Exercise Physiology Preferred
  • 3 months experience in cardiac diagnostic stress testing or cardiac rehab Required
  • BCLS
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • ACLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
  • EP-C
  • Certified Exercise Physiologist Upon Hire preferred OR
  • RCEP
  • Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Upon Hire preferred
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Perform Treadmill Exercise Stress Test, Nuclear Stress Test and Pharmacological Stress Test.
  • Ability to accurately interpret rest and stress 12 lead ECG and document any abnormalities.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of radio isotopes used in Nuclear Cardiology
  • Reports critical findings promptly to interpreting Cardiologist..
  • Demonstrates knowledge of quality control and quality assurance.
