The Cardiology Lab Exercise Physiologist acts as the administrative and technical support for all procedures provided by the cardiology lab. These procedures include EKGs, holter monitoring, event monitoring, stress treadmill testing, nuclear stress testing, transtelephonic pacemaker checks, tilt table testing, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, transthorasic echocardiograms, satellite test transmissions and result coordination. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or related field 6+ months of experience in an exercise testing laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation facility or corporate health setting. May consider new graduate if hiring department can provide direct supervision for 6 months
BLS, ALS
certification through American Heart Association Basic computer, CRT, and typing experience Testing equipment familiarity: Marquette EKG machines, treadmill control systems, and Holter monitor systems or similar Wiling or ability to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the
Cardiology Lab Supervisor Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or related field preferred ACSM certification MUSE experience Pace Art experience Cardiopulmonary stress testing Bilingual in English and Spanish Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
