Know Your Team:
UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program and a Level
III NICU.
Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities:
The Exercise Specialist is responsible for providing a safe and effective exercise environment for Olympic Center members and guests by supervising individual exercise programs, educating the individuals who are exercising, assisting with the establishment of individual exercise programs and assisting with the implementation of medically integrated fitness programs.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Associates degree in Health and Kinesiology or related field. One year of experience in health/fitness/wellness.
