Job Description

Rehab Technician / Clinical Exercise Specialist Join a Clinical Team That Changes Lives At Balance Wellspace Integrative Medicine, we believe healthcare should restore function, empower patients, and deliver measurable results - not just manage symptoms. We are seeking a Rehab Technician / Clinical Exercise Specialist who wants to be a respected and active part of a multidisciplinary clinical team - not someone looking to simply count reps. This role is critical to patient success. You will work directly with patients in rehabilitation and physical medicine programs, helping them progress safely and effectively while collaborating closely with medical providers, chiropractors, physical therapists, and fellow rehab team members. What You'll Do As a Rehab Technician, you will play a direct role in patient outcomes by: Guiding patients through rehabilitation exercise programs with attention to form, safety, and progression Modifying exercises appropriately to keep patients progressing while staying aligned with treatment plans Assisting in the application of physical medicine and therapy modalities after training Monitoring patient response to treatment and communicating relevant findings to the clinical team Supporting smooth patient flow to ensure all prescribed services are delivered efficiently Participating in clinical team meetings and contributing observations/recommendations for new patient care plans Reinforcing patient accountability around home exercise compliance, stretching, nutrition habits, and lifestyle recommendations Collaborating with medical providers, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other rehab staff to optimize patient outcomes Documenting patient progress accurately and professionally Helping create an encouraging, high-accountability patient experience Who Thrives in This Role You may be a strong fit if you are: Highly attentive and observant Comfortable course-correcting patients in real time Confident having respectful accountability conversations Adaptable and able to think critically when patients need modifications Energized by teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration Compassionate toward patients dealing with chronic pain or physical limitations Professional, positive, and coachable Motivated by measurable outcomes and patient transformation Interested in long-term growth within healthcare
Qualifications Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field OR Certified Personal Trainer / Strength Coach with relevant clinical or rehab experience
Experience:
1+ year experience in fitness, rehab, physical medicine, healthcare, or patient-facing coaching role preferred Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment is a plus Experience with exercise progression/regression and movement coaching strongly preferred What Makes This Role Different This is not a passive support role.
