  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Therapist to join our team.
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to children and their families, fostering emotional well-being and resilience. Your expertise will help children navigate developmental challenges, behavioral issues, and mental health concerns through evidence-based practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand each child's unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual and family counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as play therapy, TF-CBT, CBT and other evidenced-based interventions. Collect and document medical records, patient data, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools to assess mental health conditions. Skills Proven experience working with children and families in community care or mental health settings. Strong knowledge, or desire to learn, play therapy and other child therapy interventions. Good time-management skills and ability to operate in a busy practice. Passion to work with children.
