Autism Waiver Lead and Line Therapist

Duties:

• Provide therapy services to individuals with special education needs, including those with autism, gender issues, and chronic pain.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as dance therapy, art therapy, and counseling.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in therapy.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
• Experience working with individuals with special education needs, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and data collection techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements for therapy services.
