Summary of Job Duties:
The Clinical Therapy Specialist for the Behavioral Health Service Line is a licensed social worker or counselor who functions within the three spheres of influence: patient-therapist-system. Must possess advanced knowledge of therapy practice and the ability to apply standards within the inpatient and/or outpatient practice areas.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related mental health field 4+ years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years of experience in the specialty area for the position Experience in crafting standards of practice for Licensed Associate Counselors (LACs), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs), and Licensed Certified Social Workers (LCSWs) Licensed by Arkansas Professional Board - Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Able to follow oral and written instructions and communicate with others effectively Ability to document services provided Understanding of regulatory and compliance organizations/agencies Excellent customer relations skills Understands and abides by confidentiality policies
