Company Description Aurora Behavioral Health System is Arizona's largest freestanding psychiatric hospital system, dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and the community through comprehensive mental health and substance use prevention, intervention, and treatment. With 238 beds across two Level 1 acute-care hospitals-Aurora East in Tempe and Aurora West in Glendale-we offer a full continuum of care, including inpatient and outpatient services for adults, adolescents, and the geriatric population. Both facilities are licensed by the state of Arizona, accredited by JCAHO, and provide 24/7 services with free assessments. Our holistic approach emphasizes restoring and maintaining health through specialized and compassionate care tailored to each patient population. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for outpatient adolescents at Aurora Behavioral Health West in Glendale, AZ. Located at 6015 W. Peoria Ave Glendale, AZ 85302 . The therapist will provide direct clinical services, including individual, and group therapy, while maintaining progress notes and treatment planning consistent with ethical standards and licensing requirements. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring adherence to all confidentiality and compliance protocols. Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mental health, chemical dependency, DBT skills, telehealth, adult and adolescent care at PHP and IOP levels. Qualifications Proven skills in counseling, individual, and group therapy Experience in treatment planning, clinical assessments, and case management Knowledge of behavioral health regulations, ethics, and confidentiality standards Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and establish rapport with diverse client populations Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities Requirements Licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, LAC or equivalent in the state of Arizona and in good standing Must be at least 21 year or older Must possess or be eligible for a level 1 DPS fingerprint clearance card This is a safety sensitive position and must be able to pass a drug screen and physical Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field Experience working with adult, adolescent, and/or geriatric populations is a plus Willingness to work some evening hours #INDHIGH
