Job Description

•Sign-on Bonus!• $3,000 for an Independently Licensed Therapist! $1,500 for an Associate Licensed Therapist! Job Overview The Clinical Therapist is responsible for completing intake assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing individual and group therapy. The clinician is responsible for maintaining clinical documentation that meets the state's requirements. The clinician engages in ongoing professional development through online resources, clinical supervision, or other continuing educational activities. Responsibilities Collaborates with the client and their natural supports to develop and implement an effective service plan, takes time to explain the available clinical options to the client and their natural supports and identifies the advantages and disadvantages of the options Provides clinically appropriate psychotherapy services in accordance with applicable ethical code(s), rules, and regulations Serves as the point of contact for coordination and communication with other systems where clinical knowledge of the case is crucial Assists in screening and coordinating integrated services for clients Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the client and their natural supports that may result in a modification to the service plan, as necessary Ensures coordination of care out of the area, out of the state or out of the Arizona system prior to discontinuation of services Maintains a thorough and comprehensive client record Participates in individual and group supervision that meet the standards set by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and in accordance with organizational policy Other duties as assigned Core Competencies Trauma-Informed Clinical Practice Integrates trauma-informed principles into assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to support client safety and recovery. Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning Demonstrates competency in evaluating client needs using evidence-based tools and developing individualized treatment plans. Clinical Documentation and Regulatory Compliance Maintains timely and compliant documentation that meets licensing, Joint Commission, and payer requirements. Professional Ethics and Clinical Judgment Applies ethical decision-making, maintains professional boundaries, and adheres to licensing standards and scope of practice. Competencies listed above are assessed during orientation, annually, and when job responsibilities change in accordance with Joint Commission Human Resources standards.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
substance abuse, peer support, mental health: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License with no restrictions for 3 years (Required) Independent or Associate Behavioral Health License (Preferred)
