Job Description
NurseIO is seeking compassionate and experienced independently licensed Mental Health Therapists for PRN shifts at behavioral health facilities throughout the Phoenix, Arizona area. This role focuses on leading structured group therapy sessions, providing individual therapy as needed, and completing timely clinical documentation. The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting patients through evidence-based behavioral health treatment. Responsibilities Facilitate engaging and therapeutic group counseling sessions Provide individual therapy and clinical support as scheduled Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support patient progress and treatment goals Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional boundaries Contribute to individualized treatment planning and ongoing care coordination Requirements Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Active, independent Arizona licensure required (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, and/or substance use treatment settings preferred Ability to pass a background check and facility credentialing requirements Strong clinical assessment, communication, and group facilitation skills Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse treatment environments Why Work Through NurseIO Flexible PRN scheduling and block booking opportunities Access to leading behavioral health facilities across the Phoenix metro area Competitive, transparent compensation Dedicated Client Success team to support you every step of the way Opportunity to expand your professional network and clinical experience
