Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evidence-based practices, including psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Deliver crisis management interventions and crisis intervention services to stabilize clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs, incorporating evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing, behavioral management, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and gender issues counseling. Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and accurate medical records while ensuring confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate care for clients with complex needs such as developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Engage in clinical research activities and data collection efforts to support program development and quality improvement initiatives. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to services for remote or underserved populations while adhering to best practices in telehealth experience. Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent state certification. Proven experience providing psychotherapy or mental health counseling in outpatient or inpatient settings. Demonstrated expertise in working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and geriatrics. Experience conducting intake assessments and utilizing ICD coding for diagnosis documentation. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and managing high-pressure situations involving behavioral crises or trauma survivors. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions and familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes. Prior involvement in clinical research or data collection projects is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
