Mental Health Therapist - Individual & Group Therapy Overview Reset Wellness & Recovery is a growing integrated outpatient behavioral health clinic providing individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric services, and coordinated care. We are seeking compassionate, motivated clinicians to join our expanding team. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Develop and update individualized treatment plans Deliver individual and group therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively and ensure client safety. Provide specialized counseling services including addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with autism or disabilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, monitor progress through data collection and medical documentation, and adjust interventions accordingly. Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records while ensuring accurate documentation of patient care, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Engage in clinical research initiatives to improve therapeutic approaches and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health practices. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law. Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Strong skills in crisis management, crisis intervention, behavior management, and social work practices within outpatient or inpatient settings. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms; knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential. Ability to handle complex cases involving trauma, PTSD, chronic pain management, addiction recovery, or grief counseling. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams for holistic treatment planning.
