Job Description

This position is for our outter Kern County region which covers Delano, Wasco, Shafter and surrounding areas. Afternoon and Evenings ONLY. Join us as a Behavior Interventionist and make a meaningful impact on the lives of families and children on the autism spectrum. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), you'll play a crucial role in delivering in-home ABA therapy sessions. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required Availability to work at least 16 hours per week during business hours (Mon-Fri) afternoons and evenings. Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance Ability to provide negative TB Test results Ability to pass background check, DOJ fingerprinting, health screenings, and/or provide immunization record Energetic attitude and a desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities
Responsibilities:
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavioral reduction protocols Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior Effectively communicate with parents/caregivers regarding clients' progress as instructed by case supervisors Assist with parent/caregiver training, as needed, in line with clients' individual treatment plans and behavior reduction protocols Maintain confidentiality in all aspects and adhere to HIPAA regulations Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures with clients Participate in ongoing training and professional development meetings related to skills needed for accurate and efficient job performance.
