In this rewarding role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change. Your expertise will help foster independence and improve quality of life for those you serve, all within a compassionate and collaborative environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral health and education while making a lasting impact in the clients home and out in public spaces. Duties Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques tailored to each client's needs. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence. Collect, analyze, and document data on client progress to inform treatment plans and ensure effective intervention strategies. Develop, implement, and update personalized care plans that align with clients' goals and behavioral health requirements. Support clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by teaching communication skills, social interactions, and adaptive behaviors. Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent care and progress monitoring. School pick up or drop off. Accompany client to medical appointments or outings. Qualifications Experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or special education is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and experience assisting with ADLs. CA drivers license and vehicle to provide transportation. Enthusiastic personality and energy to keep up with children. Excellent teaching skills combined with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
