Job Description:

Position Summary The Ohana Therapist reports to a Clinical Program Manager and is responsible for providing evaluations and individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents and their families. In addition, the Ohana Therapist provides mental health education to patients and, as appropriate, to the community and other professionals. Other important dimensions of this position include commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and quality of care and outcomes measurements, professionalism, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Must have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and curiosity as well as comfort prioritizing safety and quality of care. Experience Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and families. Training in either Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is preferred, but not required. The therapist will be expected to participate in training in EBT (evidence-based therapies); education and supervision activities connected to identified areas of clinician interest and programmatic needs of Ohana. Education Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required. Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment as well as ongoing required training. Licensure/Certifications LCSW, or LMFT is required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. AVADE certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire. Will complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and obtain 5150 Professional staff authorization yearly. Assigned Work Hours:

Full Time Varied. 8:30 am - 4:30 pm; 9:30 am - 5:30pm

Position Type:

Regular Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $52.72 to $70.51 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.

Hourly Evening Shift Differential:

$4.03

Hourly Night Shift Differential:

$6.05
