Oakland, CA Job Details Part-time $150 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Intake Writing skills Clinical case management notes Working with children Counseling Psychology Adolescents Youth counseling Social Work Child & youth therapy Psychology Group counseling Therapy progress note documentation Group therapy instruction Full Job Description Confidence Club Psychology Services is seeking a talented and compassionate child/adolescent therapist for a short-term position facilitating group therapy. This will be a short-term contract providing coverage while the primary facilitator is on leave. The position requires covering two in-person groups every week from September 20th, 2026 through January 17th, 2027:
  • "Ditch the Drama!": A social/friendship support group for tween and early teen girls (ages 11-13). Sundays at 9am.
Teen Anxiety Support Group:
A process group for teens ages 13-18 struggling with anxiety. Sundays at 3 pm. You will be responsible for facilitating the 1-hour weekly sessions and writing brief notes for each client attending that week. Groups are run on site at Confidence Club's Oakland office - this is not a remote position. Consultation calls for potential new members and billing will be handled by Confidence Club. Since one of the groups is a girls' group, the preferred provider will be female. Please note that the office space is available for your use at all other times outside of when the groups meet at no additional cost, making this an ideal position for someone building a therapy practice and not ready to financially commit to a lease.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral level degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage & family therapy, or related field
  • Current and valid licensure in the state of California
  • Experience working with children and teens
  • Excellent clinical knowledge, skills, and professionalism
  • Experience running therapy groups
  • Ability to complete notes in a timely manner
