Position Overview:

We are seeking an In-Person Associate Therapist with a strong background in play therapy to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children (ages 3-12) and their families, utilizing play-based interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns. This is an in-person position at our Ontario office.

Important Note:

This position is not suitable for individuals with a private practice or who wish to work at multiple group private practices during their employment at Blue Oak.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and family therapy to children using play therapy and other evidence-based modalities Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and supervision Attend weekly remote supervision with our supervisor Engage in ongoing professional development and training Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and other professionals as needed In-person availability between: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Maintain compliance with

HIPAA, BBS

regulations, and company policies Must be comfortable working independently in the office and responsible for letting clients into the building when needed Maintain a caseload of at least 12 sessions per week in person

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling and Family Therapy, or a related field In-person position in Ontario, CA. Must live within approximately 20 miles for reliable onsite attendance. Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) in the state of California Minimum of 1,000 supervised clinical hours completed toward licensure required at time of application Experience and training in play therapy or a similar child-led therapeutic model required Experience providing therapy services to children and families Knowledge of child development and trauma-informed care Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and inclusive care Availability for in-person services Monday-Friday between 12:00 PM and 6:00

PM Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training or certification in play therapy (e.g., RPT or working toward RPT credential) Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
