Role:
Provide school-based mental health services to a diverse neurodivergent student population ranging from elementary through high school ages, including students with autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring mental health needs. This role focuses on facilitating therapeutic groups, supporting emotional regulation, strengthening social development, and promoting overall student well-being while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families.

What You'll Do:
Lead structured and process-based group therapy sessions Develop and implement group curricula targeting emotional regulation, social skills, and academic stress management Provide individual therapy services as needed Document student progress, treatment notes, and clinical updates Collaborate with educational teams, administrators, and families Support crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization when necessary Maintain compliance with school and clinical documentation requirements
What We're Looking For:
Must Have:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field Active California
LMFT, LPCC, LCSW
license or associate registration ( AMFT, ASW, APCC ) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, or Cleared PPS credential through
CTC DOJ/FBI
Live Scan background and TB clearance Experience facilitating group therapy with adolescents Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience working with neurodivergent populations, specifically autism spectrum disorders Familiarity with CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities School-based or educational setting experience Experience supporting adolescents with co-occurring mental health diagnoses
Physical Requirements:
Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, handling, and lifting up to 50 lbs Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
