You will learn clinical tools and be supervised with solid theoretical frameworks and plenty of guidance. You will learn to work with diverse clients in private practice, gaining exposure to working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. This is NOT a soul-sucking, high burnout, low supervision group practice but rather one where you will be valued, cared for, and given plenty of autonomy. Duties Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse client populations. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other modalities. Prompt completion of session documentation and clinical assessments with assistance of AI notetaking tools. This is a practice that works with insurance panels. Manage crisis and remain reachable if a client is high risk under supervisor's guidance. Attend weekly supervision meetings and actively participate in trainings. Requirements Current enrollment or licensure as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC with the board of behavioral sciences. If you are waiting on your associate number, your start date will be when you receive it. Experienced in delivering one-on-one psychotherapy and confident in clinical settings. Working knowledge of crisis management procedures when a client is high risk. Familiarity with diagnostic codes and
DMS-5/ICD-10
diagnostic criteria. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Training will be provided, but prior experience is highly valued.
