Therapist

Choice House is looking for a highly skilled addiction therapist with significant experience working with the client, families of clients, and working with referring professionals during the clients treatment. Must have a CAS or LAC. We are a 90-day primary care treatment program, IOP progam and provide sober living, located in Louisville and Boulder, CO. We provide integrative services for adult men recovering from alcohol and/or drug dependency with or without a co-occurring disorder. The therapist will be responsible for providing individual therapy, group therapy, supervision and follow through in all domains related to efficient and effective care and treatment services. Therapists are responsible for correct and timely documentation, family, referral and collateral calls.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

EDUCATION:

Degree in field related to counseling, therapy, social sciences. Colorado certification for addiction counseling. CAS and (or) LAC required.

EXPERIENCE

Experience with treatment facilities and/or work with addictions and mental health populations is required. Able to demonstrate continuous quality improvement, strategic decision-making, problem solving skills and timely documentation. Preferred Trauma Counseling and Mental Health Certified

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Professional counseling licensure (LAC or CAS) required. Therapists currently obtaining licensure or close to completing hours toward licensure are encouraged to apply.
