Consultants are responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. The individual provides direct services to the children and families, as well as accurate record keeping of case notes and excellent communication with the Supervisor about the program and the progress of the treatment plans. The individual maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Director of Operations. Implement treatment plans as designed and trained by the supervising BCBA Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions. Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's program book. Implements individualized treatment plan as written and directed by the BCBA. Collects accurate data and graphs data as instructed. Assist with assessments Maintains dignity and confidentiality for all clients. Maintains and protects the wellbeing of all clients. Completes and returns session notes and other paperwork on time and manages client PHI in accordance with HIPAA. Must have high degree of interpersonal skills and the ability to take initiative when encountering problem solving situations Based on experience and qualifications, your assignment may entail working in schools, homes, and other community locations with children implementing established goals and following treatment protocols Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and staff meetings as required Job requirements and physical demands:Qualifications:
High School diploma, preferably with Bachelor's degree required or higher (in psychology, education, social work, or related field) A minimum of one year's experience working with children with special needs RBT Certification, preferred but will provide training to obtain within 90 days of employment Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to meet State's driving requirements. Dependable means of transportation to travel Must pass a criminal history background check Ability to offer bilingual services (Spanish or Portuguese)Job Type:
