Job Description

This position is for an in home client. The schedule is daily, Monday-Friday, 1-4pm. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and compassion will help foster meaningful progress and support for clients as they develop essential skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, to enhance independence. Use evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques rooted in applied behavior analysis to teach new skills across various settings. Support clients during teaching sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment that fosters learning and growth. Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment approaches and progress reporting. Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management strategies. Ability to work effectively with children and individuals with autism in a compassionate, patient manner. Excellent data collection skills to accurately track client progress over time. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance is a plus. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans and implement behavior interventions consistently. High school diploma or equivalent required; RBT certification required.
