Per Year Description:
This full-time position is for a Primary Clinician in an adolescent residential treatment program located in Woodbury, CT. The role requires providing therapeutic services in a structured environment, with a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, 08:30 am to 05:00 pm. The clinician will utilize generic therapeutic approaches to support emotional and behavioral health.
Requirements:
Maintain a clinical caseload of approximately 6 adolescent clients Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions weekly Participate in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support Contribute positively to the therapeutic milieu Collaborate with various teams to maintain a supportive environment Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and timely
Qualifications:
Eligible for or holding clinical licensure in Connecticut (LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LMSW, LCSW) Experience with adolescents and their families preferred Strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Team-oriented and adaptable Commitment to creating a supportive therapeutic environment
