Mental Health Therapist Townsend, DE 19734 Full-time Full-time Job Overview Center for Balanced Living is seeking a ​dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor who is motivated to develop strong clinical skills ​t​o join our dynamic, structured, ​and growth-oriented ​private practice. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical ​t​herapuetic services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This position is designed for a clinician who is early in their career or in an active phase of professional development and is looking for more than a standard outpatient role. We are a practice that prioritizes thoughtful assessment, meaningful therapeutic work, and a consistent standard of care. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives through evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic approaches. Responsibilities include:
Providing psychotherapy Completing timely, thoughtful, and high-quality clinical documentation Participating in consultation and ongoing clinical development Practicing within the clinical model and standards of the practice We are looking for someone who: Is licensed as an LPC Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, clinical writing, and clinical judgment Is open to feedback and committed to ongoing growth Is organized, reliable, and professional in all aspects of care Values working within a defined clinical model rather than practicing in isolation Has clinical interests that align with the practice's areas of focus, such as trauma, ERP-informed work, assessment, grief, and related specialty populations We are especially interested in clinicians who are: Warm, grounded, and relational Invested in growth and open to clinical feedback Strong in their writing and documentation Committed to high-quality client care Able to balance professionalism with heart What we offer: A professionally run and supportive practice environment Ongoing clinical guidance, collaboration, and consultation Administrative and billing support Opportunities to develop and refine clinical skills A setting that prioritizes quality care over volume An inclusive and respectful workplace that values diversity
