Job Description

Job Overview Seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Please note:
Must have experience with individuals with level 3 autism and with self-injurous behaviors must be confortable working with this level of care. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care skills. Support clients in developing communication, social, and behavioral skills through engaging teaching methods. Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy. Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Foster a safe, supportive environment that promotes positive behavior management and client well-being. Skills Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Experience in behavioral therapy, special education, or related fields working with children or individuals with behavioral health needs. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively. Excellent data collection skills to track progress and support clinical decision-making. Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation practices, and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA standards. Patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills essential for working with children and their families. Ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining flexibility to adapt to individual client needs.
