Continuous Description This is a professional contracted position responsible for providing didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical education in the Massage Therapy Occupational Certificate program at Florida Gateway College. Administration of the learning process (teaching) is to be accomplished in accordance with Federal regulation, Florida State Law, and Florida Gateway College Board Policies. Examples of Duties (

Minimum Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of massage therapy principles. Knowledge of state laws affecting massage therapy program operations. Ability in numerical reasoning and verbal expression. Ability in written communication. Ability to present information in a coherent manner and the ability to fairly evaluate student retention of that information. Computer literate.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Successful completion of a state-approved massage therapy program, an Associate's Degree in a health, business or education related field, and a minimum of 3 years of clinical practice in massage therapy.
DESIRED EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in any health, business, or education or related field.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS
Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction). Acceptable hearing (with or without hearing aid). Moderate (15 to 44 lbs.) lifting and carrying.
