Job Summary:
``` Please note this job requires in-person services. The ideal candidate will be in our North Miami office to deliver in-person therapy sessions to clients. Additional hours can be delivered through telehealth sessions and/or at a school site. We are seeking a fully licensed and bilingual (Spanish & English) dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual counseling services for eligible clients (children, youth, adults) to address individual social/emotional needs and other mental health related concerns. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. ```
Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the treatment process
  • Provide case management services to assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support ```
Qualifications:
```
  • (Required) Active Florida licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, LCSW, LMHFT, LMHC.
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Experience working with children and adolescents is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus
  • Strong understanding of psychotherapy techniques and interventions
  • Familiarity with case management principles and practices
  • Experience in providing counseling for individuals with PTSD or trauma-related conditions is an asset
