Job Description

Job details Part-time Independent Contract position available. The Peyton Network is a collaborative and supportive, trauma-informed group practice seeking an experienced licensed therapist to work primarily with children and adolescents ages 10-18 within a group home setting. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, responsible for the mental health treatment of the youth that reside at the group homes. The Peyton Network is seeking a clinician with experience working with children and teens, an understanding of trauma-informed care, knowledge of modalities to support emotional regulation, and developmentally appropriate care.
Qualifications:
Fully licensed or License Eligible in Florida (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) - Clinical Supervision will be provided Medicaid contracted or Medicaid contract eligible Experience working with children and adolescents Ability to provide in-person services in Palm Bay, FL Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology Preference if registered with the State of Florida as a Counseling Intern, or Social Work Intern, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Schedule Requirements-Availability from 12:00 to 7:00 pm, 2-4 days per week (depending on the number of residents)-Afternoon and some evening availability required-Consistent schedule required to support continuity of care Full Job Description We are seeking Master's level clinicians to join our expanding therapy program with the focus on providing mental health services to youth within two group homes in Palm Bay. Therapists will provide individual and family counseling services through the use of evidence-based treatment interventions (e.g., Trauma-Focused Care). Therapy will be provided via in-person sessions. Therapists will provide in-depth clinical assessment, diagnosis of clinical conditions, treatment plans, and interventions. Candidate must be able to work independently and be organized in setting a schedule and appointments with clients. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with the team and meet document deadlines as needed. Preferably knowledge in the treatment of child abuse, adoption/foster care, trauma, and co-occurring mental health. This is a flexible contract position that is part-time.
