Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, promoting independence and life skills. Use behavioral management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in a safe, supportive manner. Support clients during teaching sessions, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to facilitate learning across various skill areas. Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency of care and share progress updates regularly. Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and special education practices. Ability to assist clients with ADLs and support their overall well-being through patient care techniques. Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and maintaining detailed medical records. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and team members. Must be HIPAA compliant and committed to maintaining confidentiality at all times. Pay:
$27.00 - $31.00 per hour
