The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and patient assessment, with experience working with individuals struggling with Alcohol Use Disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions. As a Licensed Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based treatments, support patient recovery, and contribute to the overall well-being of our clients through compassionate and professional care. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to adults with Alcohol Use Disorder and co-occurring disorders Develop and maintain treatment plans Complete timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff Participate in treatment team meetings Review clinical assessments and outcome measures Facilitate family and collateral involvement when clinically appropriate Support clients through intensive treatment and continuing care planning Provide individual and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Implement crisis management strategies to support clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, including crisis intervention and behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and ensure holistic patient care. Engage in clinical research activities when applicable to enhance treatment approaches and contribute to evidence-based practices. Utilize telehealth platforms to expand access to mental health services while adhering to clinical standards and confidentiality protocols. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist or equivalent credential in your jurisdiction. Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, social work, or related mental health fields. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies across diverse settings including inpatient and outpatient environments. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards. Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality in medical records and data collection. Ability to adapt treatment modalities for telehealth delivery while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
