Overview Provides Child Life evaluation, treatment, teaching, and consultation to infant, toddler, latent, and adolescent patients referred for Child Life services. Implements services in accordance with departmental standards and specific hospital protocol. Responsibilities Provides Child Life evaluation, treatment, teaching, and consultation to infant, toddler, latent, and adolescent patients referred for Child Life services. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Child Life or related field Required Master's degree from an accredited program in Child Life or related field Preferred Work Experience 1 year of related experience Required and Successful completion of a full-time (minimum 480 hour internship) supervised by a CCLS Required Licenses and Certifications CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR Certification Upon Hire Required and CCLS - Certified Child Life Specialist current certification through CLC as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS)
