Job Description

Job Summary Hope Harbor Wellness is a leading provider of comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment services, committed to transforming lives through patient-centered care. Our treatment facility located in Hiram, Georgia offers a range of services, including medical detox, residential treatment, outpatient care, and aftercare. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to recover As a Part-Time therapist at Hope Harbor Wellness, you will provide direct services in the areas of individual therapy, group facilitation, complete necessary assessments, facilitate crisis intervention and on-going therapy to clients in our care. Therapeutic services provided are designed to meet the specific needs of the client and all services are provided in an office setting. Services are provided with an individualized client-centered approach and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions. Flexibility for this position is required as appointments may be scheduled in the evenings during operating hours or according to client specific schedules. Applicant is required to document appropriate clinical information in medical record in a timely manner through our designated EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for clients of diverse backgrounds, focusing on their mental health needs. Conducts a comprehensive and thorough biopsychosocial assessment within 48-hours of the client's admission to the program. Conducts consequential and/or ongoing assessments using standardized tools and measurements according to the client's diagnosis, treatment plan, and identified needs. Complete comprehensive treatment plans and reviews for all clients according to documentation standards and requirements. Develop and implement treatment plans based on thorough assessments and best standard practices. Conduct regular treatment plan reviews aligned with clients strengths, needs, and abilities. Provide therapeutic services using an array of treatment modalities. Provide discharge planning for clients assigned to your caseload. Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being, including using techniques to de-escalate ACA risks and other client issues. Participate in all staff meetings as scheduled. Collaborates with Utilization Review department on assigned caseload. Collaborate with the multi disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Diagnose substance use disorder and/or other co-occurring psychiatric disorders within scope of practice.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related human services field.
Required:
Licensed or Pre-Licensed (APC, LAPC, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, MFT, or LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
Required:
Knowledge of DSM-5 and/or ICD-10 criteria.
Preferred:
1+ year(s) experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility setting.
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health practices. Familiarity with data collection methods and clinical research principles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
