Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, geriatrics, and individuals dealing with PTSD, among other mental health challenges. The Therapist will play a crucial role in developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing clinical counseling. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments. Provide clinical counseling services to clients, focusing on case management and therapeutic interventions. Facilitate group therapy sessions, including dance therapy when appropriate. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients. Engage in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to evidence-based treatment approaches. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Requirements Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Valid licensure as a Therapist or Counselor in the state of practice. Experience in case management and clinical counseling is preferred. Familiarity with child family counseling techniques is a plus. Knowledge of PTSD care methodologies and geriatric mental health issues is desirable. Strong skills in research data collection and clinical research practices. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
