Job Description

What You'll Do As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in launching a new outpatient behavioral health service line at Cass Health. You'll provide ethical, compassionate, and evidence'based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. In this role, you will: Provide high-quality outpatient mental health services including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions. Build a positive, trusting therapeutic relationship with patients. Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using appropriate therapeutic modalities. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and circumstances. Collaborate with internal departments and offer consultation to support crisis care and coordinated patient services. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation that meets professional, regulatory, and organizational standards. Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the behavioral health service line. What We're Looking For We're seeking a compassionate, skilled therapist who is excited to help build a growing behavioral health program. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, dependable, and committed to patient-centered care. Required Education Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Required Licenses & Certifications Current Iowa license as
LMHC , LISW
, or LMFT Valid driver's license BLS certification within six months of hire Required Skills Excellent customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience using the Epic electronic health record system About Cass Health Cass Health is a thriving, independent rural health system in southwest Iowa.
