$60,000•70,000 annually (based on licensure and experience) At KC Eating Disorder Clinic, we are passionate about helping individuals and families recover from eating disorders through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and provide treatment within our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). About Us KC Eating Disorder Clinic specializes in the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our team utilizes Family-Based Treatment (FBT), CBT, DBT, ACT, and HAES-aligned interventions to support lasting recovery. Position Summary The IOP Therapist is responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy services to adolescents and adults participating in our eating disorder treatment programs. This position works closely with psychiatrists, dietitians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions Provide individual and family therapy Conduct intake assessments and clinical evaluations Develop and update treatment plans Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings Collaborate with psychiatrists, dietitians, medical providers, and referral sources Complete clinical documentation within agency timelines Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary Support meal supervision and therapeutic meal processing groups Educate patients and families regarding eating disorders and recovery Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and clinical trainings
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field Illinois LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or license-eligible clinician Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
Preferred:
