In this vital role, you will deliver evidence-based group therapy sessions to diverse populations, including adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth within a supportive environment. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through innovative therapeutic approaches and collaborative care. Duties Facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute behavioral or emotional episodes effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate social work, case management, and medical documentation standards compliant with HIPAA regulations. Engage in clinical research activities and data collection to support continuous improvement of behavioral health services. Provide specialized counseling for issues such as PTSD, grief, addiction, gender identity, chronic pain, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and pediatrics. Maintain detailed medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient care using appropriate medical terminology and CPT coding for billing purposes. Requirements Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution. Proven experience in behavioral health settings with familiarity in outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, crisis management, behavior management, addiction counseling, and working with children or individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in ICD coding, CPT coding, medical terminology, and electronic health records systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Experience delivering telehealth services and managing diverse patient populations across age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage patients effectively while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and empathy.
