Compensation:

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Child Therapist who enjoys working with children ages 6+ and values meaningful, relationship-based clinical work. This role is ideal for a clinician who wants autonomy, a steady stream of child-focused referrals , and the ability to focus on quality care rather than productivity quotas.

What You'll Do:

Clinical Assessment:

Conduct comprehensive initial intake evaluations, including developmental history and diagnostic assessments.

Individual Therapy:

Provide evidence-based individual counseling tailored to children and teens (utilizing modalities like CBT, DBT, or Play Therapy).

Family Support:

Facilitate family therapy sessions and provide parent coaching to ensure a holistic approach to the child's well-being.

Treatment Planning:

Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment goals and progress notes.

Crisis Management:

Provide immediate support and safety planning for clients experiencing acute emotional distress.

Collaboration:

Coordinate care with schools, pediatricians, and other external stakeholders to support the client.

Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted license, work independently ( LCSW, LCPC, LMFT ) Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field 2+ years post-licensure clinical experience Strong experience providing therapy to children Ability to work independently in a private practice setting

Preferred:

Advanced training in play therapy, child CBT, or trauma-focused therapy Experience with anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics

Compensation & Structure:

1099 independent contractor role 65% of collected session fees Typical earnings: $75-$120+ per session depending on payer mix Income scales with caseload (no cap)

Schedule:

Flexible, self-managed schedule After-school/evening availability preferred In-person or telehealth sessions
