Mental Health Therapist

We are a small, growing private practice looking to add team members to provide therapy to clients in need. Our practice provides a truly judgement-free, welcoming environment to people from all walks of life. One of our main priorities is making sure that the client-counselor relationship is a good fit for both parties to ensure that the client gets the greatest care. We meet people where they are and help them towards where they are going. This position is a part-time, flexible basis. You will have the autonomy to decide how many hours a week you work, as well as what days of the week and hours that you provide service. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to explore the private-practice world. You will also decide what types of treatment you want to provide to ensure that the fit is best for everyone. You will have the autonomy to decide if you want to provide services in-person, via telehelath, or a mix of both. Unlike many other private practices, we do not require that you sign a non-compete contract. Our practice wants to help people start in the private practice world. If you find that the practice is a great fit for you and you want to continue to be a part of our team, we will be glad to continue to support you and grow together. If you decide that there might be a better fit for you, be it another practice or your own practice, we also support that and do not want to hinder your growth in any way! We will support your experience by providing the physical space, equipment, and support with navigating insurance panels and billing. Responsibilities Deliver effective psychotherapy to clients Complete intake assessment and assess diagnostic criteria Maintain accurate and timely records Apply best practices and be up to date with licensure requirements Attend staffing meetings or collaboration efforts as appropriate Skills/Requirements Proven work experience as an effective therapist Passion for helping people and providing a nonjudgmental environment to clients seeking services Desire to continue to grow and develop skills Maintain one of the following licensures in

Illinois:

LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD Ability to ask meaningful questions Positive attitude Basic computer skills
