Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Consultant 1099 Contractor to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise will help clients develop essential skills, improve behaviors, and enhance their overall quality of life. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Duties Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and treatment goals Collect, analyze, and document data to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with best practices in special education and behavioral health Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and educational staff on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Participate in intake processes to evaluate new clients' needs and establish personalized care plans Provide behavior support in home and community settings. Provide weekly direct services to clients Monitor progress, update BSPs, and submit documentation on time Requirements Positive, reliable, and independent professional Strong communication and training skills Organized and detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines Comfortable creating your own schedule and managing caseload Reliable vehicle for travel within Allen and surrounding counties ( Noble, DeKalb, Adams, Wells, Huntington, and Whitley. ) in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or related fields working with children or individuals with disabilities Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of sensitive information Ability to perform behavioral assessments, evaluations, and data collection accurately Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals Self-motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule as an independent contractor Qualifications (must meet one) Master's degree in Psychology, counseling, special education, social work, ABA or related field Licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC under Indiana Code

Master's in a human services field plus 5+ years of experience developing/monitoring BSPs Additional Requirements to be obtained by the contractor and submitted prior to signing the contract: Background checks (state and county) Proof of degree/transcripts Driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance Negative TB test Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification Liability insurance ($1-3 million coverage) 10 hours of CEUs annually
